I know they say that MK is over, but i hope to god that they don't mean that. Who here says, MORTAL KOMBAT FOREVER!!!! I do!!!! I know in my heart that Mortal kombat will never die!!!

There will ALWAYS be Mortal Kombat.  Don't worry, I was on the same boat as you when I misheard about the last MK game made. I missed the part where they added "current systems". I can't wait to see what the new MK games will look like on the newer systems. PS3 especially.

I always hear a saying that all good things must come to an end and I think this should be the end.If a new MK game is made it should be called Ultimate Mortal Kombat Armageddon and it should be a revised version of the game because I felt like too much was left out like bios,some loopholes that leave us questioned,and the storyline was pretty lame for a Mortal Kombat game.If Mk goes out they should go out with a bang because no matter how much I like MKA I felt it wasnt a good ender and that they can do better but the story is too twisted and turned now.I pray that they make a revised version and that it is pheonomonal.Storywise this game Im so sad to say is over unless the MK team can pull another great trick out their asses.

MK dead? No f*cking way! MK will still live on cause I love the characters and the storylines. As for MK8 I wonder what storyline will be?

Something tells me that MK still has a fair few more numbers to perform before it faces the final curtain. If it's gone on this long, I'm sure it can go on for much longer.

Hmmm...I wonder how MK8 will be? Better konquest? Better mini games{like a better motor kombat or chess kombat}? More fighters? Better storyline? Etc. What do think guys?

I wish they would perfect the mini game, Motor Kombat. I actually was very excited when I saw that as a mini until I realized there was no point to it in terms of goals or incentives aside from kombat coins.
Had they added a goal of some sort, it would have rocked.
Only 5 realms to race on which is understandable, but the lack of pallette swapped drivers like sektor and smoke, left me wondering "why?". I mean, they even had a render of sektors car, but he never made it into the game. 
Konquest mode in Armageddon "to me" is by far the best Konquest mode ever in any past titles. I heard Konquest in Deception was far better but when I got Deception (after Armageddon), I found it way too slow in terms of getting to the good part, which wasnt all that great. But still far better than the firs Konquest mode found in Deadly Alliance which was mostly in game training sessions.
I would hope the Konquest mode in MK8 (if they even insert one in it) would be like Armageddon but stronger in terms of game play. Armageddon's Konquest was like a whole game of its own.
I love Puzzle Kombat. That thing is addicting and find myself loading up Deception just to play that instead of Kombat Mode or any other mode for that matter.
Im not dissapointed it wasnt inserted in Armageddon. I like that each title has its own mini game. Makes you wanna get all of em just to play them. A smart way to sell games.
In MK8, I dont really think they will have 60 plus characters again.
They may go back to their roots and come up with a whole new story line with a minimum set of characters to pick from. Maybe 15 to 30 the most. I dont know squat. This is just what I think.
Im very very very curious and hope to see Scorpion and Sub Zero in it.
Oh, and I definitely wish they include the Kreate A Character mode. That is the games main replay source I think.

can you boys imagine what mk would look like on th PS3 *drool*
but yeah i agree they SOOOOO many characters they may decide to give it a new set of characters with only a few experianced older characters to "guide" them say in the ways of mk
like DarkSpecter said scorpion or subzero would be an excellent choice

I can imagine what it COULD look like, but MK team will probably refrain from making it realistic looking in favor of keeping over-the-top gore.
I would prefer a realistic looking game with realistic finishers and blood.
Along the lines of "Enter the Dragon", not "showdown in little tokyo" meets crazy blood spraying "kill bill".
