I read somewhere that UMK3 was either hidden or somewhere in the MK:Armageddon disk. Ive beaten Konquest, and got all 60 relics. According to a book I saw in a Gamestop, It said that the UMK3 was in the extras. Well even after unlocking everything possible Its not there for me.

Is it possible that 2 different vers. of this disk were released? Any help on this would be great.

Also to note: The Primaguide to MK:Armageddon is wrong on the relics they give. I had trouble find 1 relic so I took gander to see, and they list Smokes ciggarette instead of his mask, and Rieko's armor is not mentioned at all.

So they could be wrong about the UMK3, but they listed a whole chapter on it.

Again, any help or information anyone might have is appreciated.

I think there's a special edition of MKA that has UMK3 on a different disk and then there's also one that just has MKA and no UMK3.

UMK3 comes only with the premium versions of MK:Armageddon. If you don't have the PE you don't get it, each game disc is a differant version number: 0.95 (no umk3) and 0.95-CE (UMK3 included)

EDIT*
My opinion has changed. I admit I took it too deep. Prima did a great job in covering the more important aspects of the game. I just didnt bother looking, so thats basically my bad.

I promise to give future guides a fighting chance before ranting about it.
Thanks to Prima, I learned my fatality strings and Konquest relics I would have never found on my own because of my noobius gaming impulses. BlaBla

I certainly agree Dark Specter. After so many massive failures, this is the last Prima Guide I will ever buy. I had to find the relics on my own basically. About 10 of the relics are missing in the guide, or just flat out wrong. Almost every prize for getting a certain number of relics is wrong in the game. And, I'm not so sure about their character rankings either.

I don't know what you guys are winging about, I think the Prima guide is awesome. It's 302 pages of MK bliss, it covers all aspects of the game in great detail, has great artwork and is very informative. As for the guide insinuating that UMK3 comes with the any version of Armageddon, I think It's a bit silly to think that, the games themselfs tell you what you get with them, as does the MKA:PE on the back of the cover says UMK3. Remember Prima have been great to us, they gave TMK 27 MKA guides, and because of that I will be giving away heaps in TMK comps!

Regards,

Yeah, but that's quantity over quality. Every Prima Guide is chockful of errors, missing information, and templating issues. They do have some nice pictures and what-not, but overall, the other companies make far better guides. Now if those other companies would make a guide for MKA.

1. "In-depth Kreate-A-Fighter Tutorials aren't tutorials, just a list of items to purcahse.
2. "Smoke's Cigarette" does not exist.
3. Sub-Zero's Amulet is not sufficiently explained
4. The Executioner is very easy to beat by just fighting.
5. Reiko's Whatever it Was is missing.
6. There are only 53 relics or so listed, so that could count as 7 mistakes really.
7. Doesn't even explain that UMK3 is on the Special Editions only.
8. Ultimate Fatality is not listed.
9. goro.jpg
10. kira.jpg

Well, there's a good start, but I really have better things to do.

Wrong, I have the guide and the first 5 pages are information on parry moves, tiers boss characters ect... they give you move lists and information, It's up to you to apply the information to the game, not Prima.

2. "Smoke's Cigarette" does not exist.

It was in the game and is even pictured in the guide, Midway took it out...agian, not Primas fault at the time it went to press it was still in the game.

3. Sub-Zero's Amulet is not sufficiently explained

Is it supposed to be? The game covers MKA, not MK Items.

4. The Executioner is very easy to beat by just fighting.

How the hell is this Prima's fault?

5. Reiko's Whatever it Was is missing.

Wow...that was worth listing...

6. There are only 53 relics or so listed, so that could count as 7 mistakes really.

55 relics are listed (not including smokes cigarette, only 5 are missing...big deal.

7. Doesn't even explain that UMK3 is on the Special Editions only.

Nothing to do with Prima, who honestly looks at a PLAY GUIDE for information on the GAMES contents...how about you read the back cover of the game.

8. Ultimate Fatality is not listed.

No fatalities are listed, they list the INDEX KEY to making your own fatalities, the rest is left up to you.

9. goro.jpg

What?

10. kira.jpg

What?

Well, there's a good start, but I really have better things to do.

Sorry I think that was a pretty bad start.

Regards,
