I was walking home with some mates one day, talking about MK:A they said they were getting bored with it.They asked me if I was getting bored with it and before I could answer some asshole who was walking behind us said ''Mortal Kombat is a --!#$@-- little kids game, with crap cartoon graphics.'' I turned around and said to him ''I know a lot of people who would kick your ass if you said that in front of them'' all he had to say was ''Yeah, right.'' And it turns out it was the only person I know who is a --!#$@--, no really he is --!#$@--

I wouldn't hate him for not likeing a game. Sure enough, I must say it is rude to butt into someone elses conversation, or for that matter to be listening in on it, but I wouldn't hate him because of his opinion. I don't think anyone would beat him up just because he doesn't like MK.

while I think that everyone is entitled to their own opinion, I think his is probably uneducated, and therefore, moot. I would be willing to bet that he's most likely never played MK before, or maybe put a couple quarters in an arcade machine, got his ass handed to him, and then huffed off in an ego-bruised tirade, concluding that because he lost, the game is stupid.
so my conclusion is thus. don't listen to him. he's not of any importance.
p.s. I definitely agree with Albert Simon when he said that butting into a conversation is completely rude.

Ehhh.. dont worry about it Scorpion. Like Chibi said, he possibly never got into the game anyways.
Mortal Kombat is great. All of it. Even the mistakes. True Kombat fans always come back for more. And Im not ashamed to admit that.

Man you should make a character like him on mk and if you know him lyk bring him over two your house so WhileYour palying MK:A on his charcter give a 10+ fatality moves and do a johhny cage on him see what Mk does to his balls. Or Jus give him a nice Haymaker.

There's absolutely no reason to give this any thought or effort. I would've simply said this:
"....you feel better about yourself yet?"
The fact that you reacted with negativity satisfied his ego. If you just blow it off--or even worse for him, completely ignore him--you would've done more emotional damage to him.
So from now on, when someone belittles something that you like, just simply say "okay?" or what I said above. The only time I switch to violence mode is when I'm threatened.
