Eh, it can be. I played it to see how using Kung Lao, Liu Kang, Sub-Zero, and Scorpion differed in style and difficulty, plus in two player mode with those four for different combos and stratigies. I mostly use it for the vs mode though, and on occassion the MK2

I used to play it mostly for MK2. But now that I have MAT2, i hardly touch it but do plan to finally beat it one of these days. After that, I may still go a few more rounds with scorpion and sub zero.

if my husband would play it with me, then I'd play a lot more versus mode. I really like the way it's set up, but my hubby doesn't wanna hurt my feelings when he totally decimates me... >_<
so yeah. I haven't played in a while. *pouts*

I actually am gonna play through it again soon. Don't know why though.
I suck at the versus mode, so that part doesn't really interest me.

My ps2 broke so I can't play anything. Gah, and to think I was actually rarin' to go to play Shaolin Monks.

Damn. Sorry to hear that Jay. Thats one way to keep you from playing Shaolin Monks.
I think im going to have to replay it all over again because I left half ways through and when I tried playing it again a few nights ago, I forgot what I was supposed to do or go.

damn that sucks that your ps2 broke jay i've gone through 2 of them so far a big fat one and another big fat one that i got refurbished for free and that one the vibration fuse died in the system like a year after i got it and the guy who said he could fix it that works in loblaws accidently the power cable on it came off so he said he'd pay and fix it and he never did
but i kinda knew that he do that cause why would he pay 101 or stuff on my ps2 to get fixed so i just bought a second hand slim down ps2 last summer in august from ebgames and that one's been working like a charm.

Yeah I totally got sidetracked when I bought MK:Deception and played through Konquest. On numerous occasions, I would confuse missions from the two games! 
Definitely will keep that in mind next time. Finish one, before jumping on the other.
