call me old fashion but i like lui more but i haven not played mortalkombat 4 yet but i do plan on getting a dream cast with mk gold and then maybe ill change plus lui did have the bycicle kick (im very cheap with it if one of my friends piss me off when im plaaying mk with them)

Liu kang's my favorite out of those two for sure. Kai i never even played with that much when he first got introduced in mk4 he wasn't that great of a chracter imo. Stryker was a better made character then kai imo.

I like every Shaolin Monk in MK. Kai was my favorite character (with Reiko and Tanya) in MK4 and looks great in MK:A. On the other hand, Liu is MK champ (though quite stereotypical).
