There is no real relationship, it was just some way formed so the could force another MK Nija into the movie

Hey I saw this forum, looked pretty cool, so I desided to join up
Anyhu the movies arent really canon so arent in touch with the main MK storyline (for example, Shinnok being Kahn and Raydens father).
However if they were. My theory is that because Ermac is a humaniod presence of multiple souls that Shao Kahn has claimed, and that Noob Saibot is actually the original Sub-Zero, Kahn must have claimed the soul of the older sub zero before the first movie (also explains why Sub Zero was being shown as working for Shang Tsung).
When Sub-zero became Noob Saibot and worked for Kahn/Shinnok. Him being produced by Ermac was either a dark clone of the soul of the original Sub Zero acting as one of the souls of Ermac, or Ermac was housing the actual presence of Noob Saibot under orders from Kahn.
I know the movies are not canon, but theories like this interest me. something to think about.

First off, you did not revive a dead topic. A dead topic is defined as any topic that has not received a post within six months. Now, on the topic, Ermac is a fusion of souls like you thought. On the topic of Sub-Zero, Green Dragon, yes, Noob Saibot is the original Sub-Zero, but his soul was corrupted when his soul was sent to the Netherrealm. Scorpion killed him, according to the game storyline. The Sub-Zero from the first movie never had his soul captured by Kahn. He was enslaved by Shang Tsung, and so was Scorpion. They were being controlled by Shang Tsung's power, according to the movie.

Well, if I wasn't being falsely accused of trying to enforce the rules again by members, then I would be a lot better off. The last few reports were on people who DID break the rules. On the topic of Ermac and Noob, the theory that I came up with should explain it, especially for it being a noncanon movie.
