Im kind of scared at what direction mortal kombat will go on the next gen consoles i mean there's 50 percent this game will be good or there's the other 50 percent that too much new stuff will ruin mortal kombat for good.

Is it just me, or does that link look oddly simular to wiki... i wont trust any info on MK8 that I dont see DIRECTLY from the MK Team ON AN MK8 sites thats made BY the MK team.

I'm pretty sure that site is affiliated with Wikipedia, but Wiki is a reliable source, if you know how to back up what you're reading, of course. If anything's fake on that page, it's probably the logo.
Plus, I doubt we'll be seeing any official MK8 site anytime soon, if anything - just an official logo.

It's all fake, and I have seen that logo before, like just after MKA came out.
BTW: Wiki is a terrable source, It's full of lies and miss-quotes...I don't even visit the site, at all to check on MK related things, cause everytime its just old news or some re-arranged news to sound new.
I wish someone would close the MK section of Wiki pedia FOREVER!

Lol, I actually like Wikipedia. Don't get me wrong, I know that anyone can just write whatever they feel like, but I have enough sense to look up actual game info on my own to back up what I'm reading.
And the only thing on that page that is probably fake is the logo. But the info and quotes are backed up by the links I provided.

Maybe you didn't see what happened around the time before MKA came out, people started to make up characters and put them on Wiki eg "Torcha" and all the n00bs where like OMG TORCHA! Midway and sites like mine had to keep telling peoplw that it wasn't real and that wiki isn't reliable... check out the Midway boards 
Wiki is fine as a basic information site, but with somelike like MK people just add what ever they like to it.

Yeah Wikipedia give a lot of crap on mortal kombat. But Who are these noobs creating these logos. I would ask them one favour " Stop doing Dumb Things'' bloody D**** I mean some m k fans get there hopes up. but whenevr it comes out I will get it. Hopefully these characters (new) will have cool weapons or combos.

If i ever get a xbox 360, I'll have to check out from people who first buy mortal kombat whatever the next gen one will be called cause if they killed off scorpion cyrax sektor or even more of the old ones it';s for sure i won't buy it.
New characters will never be as good as the old ones and i know that for a fact.
It might not stop some people from buying it but im sure it'll stop enough that they'll understand what they screwed up on and might make them go as far as bankrupt.

I say this topic should be locked, there is no evidence in that link that can be proven true MK8 knowladge.
As a side note to doug:
Cyrax and Sector were each 'new charactters' at one point in time, yet you loved them more then some of even the more 'classic characters' correct? Try being a bit more open minded and give the game a chance when it comes out before judging it.

Could have sworn... whatever.
Wikipedia is a waste of time for current or future info. The only thing that makes that website the slightest bit of good is for looking up stuff that you forgot about from when you were a kid. The Past, they have research, not news.
