Just go the DVD today, this film is awsome. great effects and martial arts. I haven't even played the game before but this film really impressed me. I hear the DVD has been released practically everywhere apart from the USA. Its often them that get films before anywhere else.
Anyway, this film was gret, 10/10

I'm not a big fan of the game, but I watched the trailer and it looked awful man. For a movie based on a game they really screwed it...for a start they used Devon chick for Kasumi, now if you have played the game lets just say she doesn't have the chest to play that character and those of you saying "that isn't important" to me it is, because that was part of her character in the games. I will hire the DVD soon, and post my final word... but It looks really bad, went from Cinema to DVD here in about 1 month....thats just as fast as "When A Stranger Calls (2006)" And for Australia, thats like record time.

I am a big fan of the series, though sad to say due to lack of an X-box consel, I only have the first two games. I remember a long time ago seeing the trailer and lving it, but I feel kinda gipt (sp?) that we dont have it yet, nor have even alteast seen an advertisement for it...

Yeah, I am a big fan too. I didn't even now that the movie hit the theaters. Then again, I didn't really check. But still, I would love to see the movie.

well, I've seen the first 10 mins of it thanks to youtube, and I love it so far, it does a good job of keeping to the story

Would have to disagree with your coment about Devon Aoki, she was actually my favourite character. She was really good as Princess Kasumi IMO.
I can remember you saying MK was your favourite film, I'm not trying to be offensive, but in MK 1 Talisa Soto was almost flat chested. Would you also be prepared to say that she was a mistake being in as Princess Kitana?
Anyway, I liked Devon in the film, would say it is a lot better than the MK movie
