Post subject: How many times is boon going to use "brothers"? |

Just something I was thinking of lately, why does he have so many characters that are siblings, one good and one evil, he had Raiden and Kahn in MKA but not in the games, Kitana had mileena who was like a clone or something SubZero and Noob Saibot, now Taven and Daegon.

I don't count that Shao Kahn/Raiden movie crap...
So pretty much we have:
1) Sub-Zero and Noob Saibot
2) Kitana and Mileena
3) Taven and Daegon
and you forgot one...
4) Taven and Rain

Does it really matter? I find it intresting seeing familey members torn apart by kombat, it makes for great story plots and epic battles, so long as they don't over use it. So, unless I see another brother/sister idea in the next game, I wont think too much of it

I don´t mind siblings as far as they hate each other.
Jay: and what about Daegon-Rain 
I´ve always thought they would make Ashrah and Sareena sisters. But unfortunately they did not

I think they are....
But I don't know, I wish the MK team can confirm that.
But either way, if they were sisters, it doesn't prove the point of the topic since Sareena and Ashrah are both good.

Ok, I see everyone diusagrees with me. Can I ask, was it suposed to be obviose that Daegon was going to be evil from the begining? As soon as I started Conquest I knew that he was going to turn out to be evil.

I knew Daegon was gonna be evil from the beginning because Boon and co told us since we knew about MKA's Konquest.

Jay: Well, since Sareena has become Quan Chi´s servant again and Quan is Ashrah´s enemy, I believe that makes the two girls enemies too. Though the fact still doesn´t make them sisters 
AS: I believe everyone knew Daegon was going to be evil

Sareena doesn't serve Quan Chi anymore. Taven freed her from that because (Konquest mode) and in her ending, she is again at Sub-Zero's side.

The endings aren´t cannon until MK8 is out
Btw. I remember that Taven defeated the three demon assasins, but not the fact he hasfreed her. I´m probably missing something

Well, Sareena's ending itself isn't canon until MK8, yes. But.... the fact that she is still on the good side means that she overcame Quan Chi.

I don't think Hotaru and Havik were related, but w/e. But yeah, it is pretty cool seeing family members have some sort of rivalry between eachother in mk.
