I'm saddened for her daughter, but I'm not surprised. anyone who's seen her on TV can tell you that she had some serious drug issues. I hoped she would've gotten help for that once she had her daughter and then found her son dead, but I guess not.

Honestly what I dont get is... why the fuck doesn anyone care? She was a druggy celebrity who did everything she could (and everyone she could) to make a buck. About the only person in this mess I feel sorry for is her daughter that got stuck with a loser of a dead mother.

Well.. I think the main reason anyone actually cares is because of her daughter that she left behind. Also, people are sad because she could have easily gotten the help for her problems if she tried. Plus, she was young.
On the other hand, a lot of people are interested in her death because of how she died. She just dropped dead mysteriously. Just like her son, who died just 5 months ago. With all the legal troubles going on about her money and who the baby's father is, it just seems fishy that she would die.

people care because she was a human being, and human deaths are sad to us. unless she died in a way worthy of a Darwin Award (e.g. - putting her face into a piranha tank), then people are going to care. it's called compassion.

The world will be a better place without her. The only people I feel sorry for are the daughter and, of course, the parents. This whole case on Anna Nicole Smith's body and who gets it is just plain stupid. Here's an idea: take her to a crematory, burn the body and dump her ashes in the sea, where they belong.

One of the most ignorant posts I have ever seen.
I want you to give me specific examples of how the world, whether it be in it's entirety or in a general sense, will benefit or improve from her death.
It is not a matter of who "wants" her body, but where it is buried. This argument is in no sense "plain stupid" as the only meaningful visits that Anna gets are from her loved ones. No one is going to want to travel for many hours to visit a deceased family member if they do not have to. Personally, I think she should be buried where she wishes to be buried.
