Hello all.

I, like most people (but not all, mind you.), greatly dislike the new fatality system that Armageddon provides. I've come up with a way to help you all get Ultimate fatalities and hopeful aid you all to better victories and relinquish that irritation caused by premature murder. Do keep in mind, however, that these are not sure-fire guarantee. The new system is very glitchy and this method will not help if one of the following very common disadvantages occurs:


1. The Game decides that you have had enough and ends your fatality

2. You end up starting too close to a curved area and merge with your opponent causing all control to be confused and thus, becomes worthless.

3. Animations take longer than usual for some unexplained reason.

4. You have no idea what you're doing.

One more thing to keep in mind while reading this:

This guide was meant for serious fatality performers. Meaning, the most ambitious, quick fingers, and , preferrably those who remembered all the combinations.

No slow button mashers, please.


The following is a list of Which step each action can be without it ending your fatality.


(The number indicated is the actual step number e.g. if arm snap is 3 you may do heart rip, spin kick, arm snap, head rip)


QUICK LEGEND:

F - Forward
B - Back
U - Up
D - Down
# - May be 1-4 indicating which attack

* For those of you who don't know, because, a lot of you don't. There are some characters that use weapons. To make to more confusing, some characters with weapons use different categories of weapons, which, basically explains Midways team to be lazy by claiming that they didn't want to do character specific fatalities and then pull something similar, but lame like this. Now, all characters who use weapons can Forward Decapitate, Forward Impale, and Forward Slice Both Arms. To help you out, Here's a quick listof Weapons and explainations:


SWORD 1 = WHO? : Sub-Zero, Scorpion, Kenshi, Li Mei, Dairou CAPABILITIES : KNEES; IMPALE/ KNEES; DECAPITATE FATALITY/ BEHIND; SHISH KABOB FATALITY RESTICTIONS : NO FACE DOWN/ NO FACE UP/ NO KNEES BEHIND

SWORD 2 = WHO? : Shang Tsung, Sareena, Fujin CAPABILITIES : FACE UP; HEAD KABOB FATALITY/ FACE UP; DECAPITATION FATALITY/ KNEES BEHIND; IMPALE RESTICTIONS : NO FACE DOWN

SWORD 3 = WHO? : CYRAX, ASHRAH CAPABILITIES : FACE DOWN; HEAD KABOB FATALITY RESTICTIONS : NO FACE UP/ NO KNEES BEHIND

AXE = WHO? : JAREK CAPABILITIES : NOTHING SPECIAL RESTRICTIONS : NONE

SHORT "SWORD" : WHO? : Kano, Mileena, Movado, Kira CAPABILITIES : FORWARD; HEAD STAB/ FORWARD; HEAD IMPALE RESTICTIONS : NO FACE UP/ NO KNEES BEHIND



*** The BEHIND Transition is VERY glitchy. The Moves work less often, the animations vary in timing, and I've even had the actual transistion from forward to behind take so long, ending the fatality, as early as step five.


If you plan on doing a chain after a behind transition, it will not work past eight. That is, taking into consideration that the glitches do not come into play. If you are doing the HEAD SMASH Fatality right away, is will work at step 10.

i always keep doing the same fatality all the time lol
...and also i had no idea that i was alound to use the sword lol .......i was new to the game at that time lol..

I do the same thing as Sindelfan, I just do the same combo fatality. I don't get creative, or try to do as many fatal moves as I can. Smile
