didn't see this one any where so I'd better start some controversy now. Just kidding. but really who's better, who could kill who, etc, etc. I'm a Marvel fan (if you couldn't tell by the name alone) but I do know that if these two were to fight hero to hero,, DC would be owning some pink slips right now. but in a fight between Captain America and Batman. oh that C.A. all the way. now start debating.

I used to be a fan of Marvel Comics back in the early 80s and 90s.
But Marvel is like the Nintendo of comics to me now. Molded for a much younger crowd. Its dumbed down I mean. (no offense to Nintendo fans, I still love my SNES)
While DC, although, only has a few comic characters that rock, like Lobo, Batman and Green Lantern, they havent really turn cheesball and bright like Marvel did.
Marvel has the most inconsistent storylines not worth following anymore.
Wolverine once rocked, now hes just lame. And its not the character. Its both, the writers and artists that made many marvel properties lame.
I once was aiming to work for Marvel to try and pick up after Sam Kieth, Jim Lee and Whilce Portacio, but then they went the manga/traditional route and turned everything into a cartoonish bright colored pile of rubish.
Back then, when wolverine d a knife stuck in his side, it looked like it hurt. Now, Wolverine walks with his flesh completely burned off and its just stupid. No sense of pain.
And when Marvel heard similar complaints, they got tooo serious and took away his powers and made him more human as well as many other characters. How f--cking stupid.
But thats just one man's opinion. 
Down with Marvel. I guess I'll pick DC since Indy isnt in the options.

I got to give it to Marvel, simple reason being that DC has touched dangerous grounds; dubbing manga. Their dubbing of the Tenjho Tenge made me sick. They cecsored out so much, and even took out important plots to the story line.

I say Marvel all the way. Gotta give it to the superior super heroes, but if I had to choose the DC Comics, it would only be because of the Green Arrow. I don't know much on him, but what I do know is that he is a great DC hero.

Whoo...my favorite age-long debate...hear me out...
...Marvel remains superior over variety...that much is obvious...lest many are better than DC's consistent classics...DC was the best in the beginning because that was its style and the style remained...truely dedicated to the art...
...when it comes to art design Marvel will always have a few of the greatest artists...Clayton Crain who did the Punisher and certain (far greater) Ghost Rider stories as well as several X-Men dedicated artists will always give Marvel an absolute name...
...Image comics will always be the greatest in art don't get me wrong...Spawn is the best in artistic originality...only between the two...Marvel is better...
...story-wise...DC...by far...every new Marvel comic is so similar to the beginning of all the others...DC makes original stories for their same characters...over and over...original and flawless (that's too far) excellent...
...have you read the Vertigo DC comics? Now those...are the greatest...in eloquence and ideas...might I bring up names you've heard of? Constantine...and my personal favorite of all comics beside Ghost Rider...V for Vendetta...
...Marvel on the other hand lets you swim in its little universe...each comic basically interacts with the others in this huge world rather than DC's limited Justice League...
...a tough decision by far...though always...until Marvel understands the concept of eloquence (doubtfully with such a young audience)...I will choose DC...
