A new ninja wouldn't hurt, I like ninjas. But the powers this new ninja will have if there is a new one, one can only wonder what they'll be......
I sound like a parrot now repeating what some other people have already mentioned...Anyhow, (repeating again) Scorpion is most likely going to be in it, Sub-Zero might too. I just want Ermac to be in it!

I don't think they should have a new white ninja, but if they did it would be cool to see what he looks like, what his moves are, and what his story line will be like.

What's with everybody thinking that none of the current ninjas would return??? You're taking the "wiping the slate clean" quote too literally. As far as I'm concerned, the only thing changing about MK is the mechanics and graphics.
IF MK8's taking place in a new generation, then most characters can return, since time hardly affects their existence. Where did people get that "90% of the characters will die" bit? With the pisspoor story offerred in Armageddon, they better not just start MK8 with randomly having most dead w/o explanation.
Also, Scorpion and Sub-Zero are NOT confirmed to return. Most likely? Yes - but stop assuming!!! The problem with assuming is that you'll get your hopes up, but then BOOM, what you end up getting is a disappointment.
As for ninjas - there are 64 characters.
7 of them are currently in the classic male ninja form: Scorpion, Sub-Zero, Reptile, Ermac, Rain, Noob, and Chameleon.
3 are ninja cyborgs: Cyrax, Sektor, and Smoke.
And 5 take the classic female ninja form: Kitana, Mileena, Jade, Frost, and Khameleon.
15 ninja-style characters, which is about 1/4 of the current roster.
I think that's enough.
However, IF, that's right, IF... MK8 writes off some of the ninja-style characters off, then they should be able to create new ones.

I meant what he would specifically look like. Reptile, Sub-Zero, Scorpion, and Noob all have different looks.

On the contrary, we only have a ninja for 8 out of the 16,777,216 colours visible to our eyes. Granted, most of them are shades very similar to one another, but that's not the point! There are about half a dozen colours they could still do! Brown, Teal, Orange, Aqua, Neon Pink for example.

i think a player base 16,777,216 is a little to many, for anyone tastes.
but i think he means main colours, without a 'shade' aspect if you know what i mean
also, i don't believe their ninja's but that's beside the point and its a good way to identify them with

cause the MK team officially stated it?
doesn't Frost count? Kenshi seems kinda ninja-ee as well imo
because the reason why the MK team would kill them off isn't so they can bring different ones back, you know? its like 1 step forward and 2 steps back, as far as development goes.

TMK changed the MK8 page... there's no longer a percentage, but there was. did midway change there mind(i hope so:D)

I didn't change anything, the page says most characters have been killed off, but there is no official word on how many survived Armageddon. Via asumption, we know that Scorpion and Sub-Zero survive because they are the most popular characters.
