articles at ign.com, lucasarts.com, and so on and so forth. Holy Cow!!! has any one else read this. Total simulation graphics with the DMM and Euphoria programs. These make the game almost real. the DMM makes objects and people react like the real thing. Euphoria gives characters a real body with a brain and all their actions are NOT SCRIPTED all of their actions are based on reactions that the system thinks a person would do. Let's say you fell off a bridge, would you grab onto the side? yes, and so would this system. Force powers galore, out of control, and over the top.
You play as Darth Vader's secret apprentice between episodes III and IV. No story line just yet but it sounds like the best SW game ever. I just hope they get the lightsabers right. (you know like if I slice horizontally some one better fall apart or something I want to see light saber damage cut off arms and whatnot.) _________________ If your town is attacked by the zombie menace read "The Zombie Survival Guide" and "World War Z" http://www.randomhouse.com/crown/worldwarz/

Dude, the idea of the game looking almost real sounds good, but the storyline just sounds lame. Darth Vader with a secret apprentice?! What the hell is going on? This game has NOTHING to do with the original storyline of the movies. The only games that didn't follow the movies, but were somewhat good were Knights of the Old Republic and Knights of the Old Republic II: The Sith Lords. These games were actually decent and had a good story to them, but Darth Vader having a secret apprentice just sounds dumb and would be like saying that Darth Sidious had another apprentice at the same time he was teaching the ways of the Dark Side of the Force to Darth Vader. _________________ Highest Kreate-A-Fatality: 11 (Ultimate Fatality)

You realize that's why they are making the game. We don't know the story line in between III and IV and since George Lucas is watching the making of the game its going to be what he thinks. So you can't say it doensn't follow the storyline when A.) George is looking over the project himself and B.) It's during a part of the series that NO ONE knows what happened. _________________ If your town is attacked by the zombie menace read "The Zombie Survival Guide" and "World War Z" http://www.randomhouse.com/crown/worldwarz/

Dude, trust me, Darth Vader NEVER had a secret apprentice. As a matter of fact, Vader NEVER trained any Sith Lords in the Star Wars storyline, whether in the comics, books, or the movie storyline. I do, however, know what happened between movies III and IV. Read the book titled: Dark Lord the Rise of Darth Vader and it clearly explains the storyline between movies III and IV. I can tell you that nowhere in this book does it say that Darth Vader ever had a secret apprentice. _________________ Highest Kreate-A-Fatality: 11 (Ultimate Fatality)

that's because Darth Vader was Darth Sidious' apprentice. there can only be two Sith Lords, because they all start to crave power and they will kill each other. that's why there is only the master and the apprentice. once the apprentice is sure that they have succeeded their master in power, s/he will turn on the master and kill him/her.
as quoted from the Wikipedia Sith article, found here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sith
"Two there should be. No more, no less. One to embody power, the other to crave it." - Darth Bane
so quite simply, Darth Vader couldn't have an apprentice because he was still one himself. _________________ Nikki: your friendly neighborhood moderator. ^_^

Thanks a lot, Chibi. You proved my point, but allow me to elaborate on what I said. The storyline of which thecaptainamerica refers to is about six Jedi on a planet called Murkana. It follows mainly three of them: Roan Shryne, Olee Starstone, and Bol Chatak. None of them know that Order 66 was invoked and the Jedi Temple was overrun. They find out from one of the Clone Troopers that there is an ambush in place for them so all but Chatak ditch their lightsabers, but all disguise themselves as Separatist mercenaries. Each of them had to disguise their Force powers, as Darth Vader is the most powerful Sith Lord. Only two managed to escape because Bol Chatak revealed himself as a Jedi. He wounded Vader in the arm, but was overpowered and beheaded in front of the other two Jedi and the Clones, which were punished for disobeying orders. The two escape and eventually make their way to Kashyyk, where an intense battle is fought. Shryne dies at Vader's hand and so does Starstone. Now, on this "rule". It was set up by none other than Darth Bane, one of the first Sith Lords and the most powerful. He believed that the Force was finite and could not be shared amongst an entire Order of Sith Lords. A battle was fought and in this battle, he realized that there would be no end. He released a Thought Bomb, a known Dark Side power, killing everyone in range, including himself. It is believed that he was the first Sith Lord to cheat death. The only other ever to do this was Darth Plagueis, Palpatine's master. _________________ Highest Kreate-A-Fatality: 11 (Ultimate Fatality)

wow did not know any of that. Your probably right. I don't know the exact story plot but there's been a lot of talk at Lucasarts about a secret apprentice so I just wanted to see if any one knew anything over here. Of course we won't know the plot until the game comes out this november. _________________ If your town is attacked by the zombie menace read "The Zombie Survival Guide" and "World War Z" http://www.randomhouse.com/crown/worldwarz/

I know I'm right. I've read this book four times. You should also check out the article ChibiHana left in her post, as it's a great source for all information on the Sith. _________________ Highest Kreate-A-Fatality: 11 (Ultimate Fatality)
