Alright, so i have finally accomplished one of my goals in life, to own some swords, well it's just one sword, but it's a start. Anyways, It is a full contact katana (Though it's made int he traditional japanese style, the print says made in Pakastan >.>) and I have a few maitenance questions for all you other sword owners:
What sharpening stones do you find work best, and where can I find them?
What do you use to clean and polish your sword?
If the blade starts to get loose from the hand guard and huilt, what should I do to mend this?

VainZiler, here is a site (I myself have bookmarked) I think you will find useful, now, some of the items it mentions will be Japanese items BUT just read on, it will give you substitutes to use (common things you will be able to get a hold of) The site has an excellent guide to cleaning and sharpening. As for the repair of your sword, I am unsure, maybe the site has info on that, I myself have not looked up repair.
