Post subject: Combo counter attacks |

Has anyone else pulled out all ther hair yet at the fact that some characters, can attempt a combo on you, and even tho you have blocked it, then sidestep before you even get a chance to attack back? I shall give an example, Ermac vs Cage, Cage tries to combo me, with the combo that ends with the axe kick I believe? well, the kick that will hit you if you duck, so, I cannot duck, it, I cant sidestep durin the combo, all I can do is block and wait till it is over, now the end of the combo has come, and before I can retaliate Cage is able to sidestep? I mean, comon, he can attack then sidestep all before I can throw a punch? BOO. Anyways, does anyone else run into problems like these?

...I find this quite commonly...especially against human opponents...I find computers rarely pull that off correctly (if you're fast enough) though human players can [cheat?] there way out of the counters with ease...

Yes Krave, you are right, I have not run into this problem with computer enemies only against humans, I really should have stated that. Sorry 
And I agree, no question mark need'd, it is a form of cheating, well, more or less cheating the fighting system MK has in place. ggrrrrrr

I run into this problem a lot as well. Though when this occurs, I use the parry to my advantage.  This even helps me when I play on the Maximum difficulty level. I've beaten that twice and this problem happens moreso than any other time, so just try and use a parry when this occurs and you should be home free.

Ahhh!, I will try that next time Scorp53, I wonder why I havnt yet? 
Anyways, I have found a couple things that can help, the odd sweep kick will hit if they sidestep the right way, same as the throw. But I will try the parry, get a free combo on them for trying to do it to me

Happy to be of help, young sir. Just note that the CPU may use a breaker the first time. That's the trick with them. Try to waste their breakers and once you land that next parry, you're home free. Land the longest kombo possible. For future reference, if there's any kind of help like this that you need, feel free to send me a PM and I will respond back to you.

Actually, its mostly against human opponents that I run into this problem, so I am sure I will run into em usein breakers! lol, bastards. but as long as I can learn something to stop this combo-sidestep-combo crap, I am happy, and if they wanna waste a breaker on it, even better! and thanks fer the PM offer, tho your angry devil face scares me! lol j/k
