...I like it...Captain America had always been one of my favorites though I hope they keep him dead...not from dislike...but from respect of the idealists on the matter...as superheros always stay alive...though I'm glad to see one of the main ones died...
...this reminds me of Superman's death...it was a far larger upset when he came back...first they were furious they had killed him...then they found it stupid to bring him back...
...the fact he died is far more powerful than his life had ever conjured...still seeing him in comics will be terribly missed... _________________ "...don't think it's yours just 'cause you marked it with your urine."

Is it true that the reason they killed Captain America is that they do not know what to with him?
I mean when he was first created the Cold War was going on and he fought against communism and during the 90s he survived because there was no controversy on which side he fought for. But we come to War in Iraq and the people are split, should he support the war but turns his back on the people that don't support it or should he be against the war and ignore those who feel the war is necessary. Therefore instead of making him pick a side they kill him instead. _________________ Yippie Ki Yay

Mmmhmmm... yeah I personally think it was a bad idea for Marvel to kill him off. The reason why is because theyre going to bring him back.
Actually, theyre going to use another fella to use the Cap suit and shield aaand are thinking about renaming him.
Theres a lot of talk going on in Marvel.
BTW, Im doing small side commissions for them at the moment. So Im hearing all this shit.
When DC writer whats his name, killed Superman, yeah, huge uproar. Made Superman comics popular for a short while. Thats what they wanted. Attention. Why? Because no one cared for him at the time.
Its what they do. Just like pop music stars and their cheezy drama antics just to keep themselves on the charts as most talked about people on earth.
Its obnoxious.
When they brough Superman back, he wasnt the same anymore. He's got attitude now. A bit more dark in terms of how editors allow some of their artists work on him (just to help sales of course).
They did something similar with Batgirl too. Remember that fiasco? Yeah, they made her lesbian all of a sudden, completely disrespecting and disregarding past story arcs and relevancies (a bit waaaaay too far for my tastes).
Then Marvel turned Nick Fury into a black man. Ive nothing agains blacks, but see what they did just to get people talking? They know what theyre doing. Editors man.. they talk and talk and talk.
I used to collect Marvel comics up until their stories stopped making sense in terms of continuity. And continuity died after the 1990 (around that period of time) when super art and clones were the chart toppers.
Shoot...theres sooo much happening now and nothing going in any straight shootin direction.
Remember that Wolverine origins crap? Remember how they went on and on saying that was "IT"? And then later down the years Marvel staff began to slip out that it wasnt, but instead, was more of a sub universe back story to help with current Wolverine titles?
Yeah... comics. I draw comic art, but i just cant seem to get back into them in terms of reading and following their current events.
I was surprised to hear Cap kicked the bucket, but immediately said "wait a minute..meh, thats no surprise".
They dont know what to do with him? Stick him in limbo. Dont kill him. Let people forget him for a while, this way writers can get more leg room for a new current story arc.
All these new comics on shelves are non existant to me. Theyre not mysterious, cool, weird and dark.
Theyre bright, hip, out of the closet jibberish. X-Men looks like a pop singing group. lol...
They nned to go back to their roots or a few years after their roots have gained strength (the good years) and not call them Heroes Reborn.
Thats my opinion.
I want to draw Mortal Kombat comics. That would be my dream job. _________________ MORTAL KOMBAT!!!

I want to write Mortal Kombat comics...we should hang out, heheh.
That's what I've argued as well, be assured. I just want him to stay dead. There are few good comics anymore. Marvel's my main upset, they're like a wound that won't scab. They've got Ghost Rider and the Punisher still, but that's the end of their good stories. Now they have to rely on their book/movie/game conversions like Halo, the Last of the Mohicans, and Dark Tower. Luckily Dark Tower kicks ass, but only because King wrote it.
I've always been a DC Vertigo person anyway. The V for Vendetta mini-series was one of the greatest, and most eloquent series to conquer comics. Marvel's media-oriented stories killed comics. _________________ "...don't think it's yours just 'cause you marked it with your urine."
