Post subject: Saw IV Storyline Revealed! |

Hey guys, just thought I'd let everyone know the storyline for Saw IV. It is directly linked to the end of Saw III. The entire time, Jeff will be looking for his daughter before her air supply runs out, but along that path, Jeff discovers things about Jigsaw's past. It makes you wonder who the mystery character's going to be doesn't it? There are few to choose from man. Everyone knows that Cary Elwes will not play Dr. Gordon in this movie, that's if they decide to bring him back. The reason being is because he sued Lionsgate Films over a contract issue. They were supposed to pay him an extra 1%, but failed to do so. You also have to consider, Alison Gordon, Dr. Gordon's wife and the daughter, Diana, but I couldn't possibly think of either one of them having a different outlook on life. Jeff is another possibility. He was the guy that was in between those two drills when Detective Tapp and Detective Sing attempted to arrest Jigsaw in his own lair, but the idea of having two jJeffs would be stupid. My guess is that Dr. Gordon will be older in this movie and they will bring in another actor to play him, as he did amputate his foot to survive his game.

Hey man, when you have valuable news, you can't horde it. Gotta spread it and get people talking. Start people thinking about what's going to happen, or people that are going to appear. Speaking of which, the link I posted mentioned a character from the first movie returning. Any thoughts, or ideas on who's to return?

Well, I don't know anything on that yet, but my guess would have to be Dr. Gordon, considering the fact that he survived Jigsaw's game in the bathroom, but no one really knows what happened to him. Think about this: a guy is the second person to survive a "maniac's" game by amputating his own foot. For a while, he disappears, after getting a prosthetic foot and regroups himself. He comes back to find out he was too late in trying to save Adam, the guy who we all thought died of starvation until Saw III. He finds that a detective, that being Detective Matthews, was also left for dead. Finally, in Saw IV, he makes his big comeback and explains his outlook on life. No one else even comes close, as the idea of having two Jeffs would be absurd. The other Jeff was strapped down in between two drills that would have pierced his neck and killed him in 20 seconds. Remember that Jigsaw has evaded capture twice. Alison or Diana, well, I couldn't see them expressing their views on life, that is unless you consider that Dr. Gordon may be dead and this sets her off on testing others, but besides that, it wouldn't happen. Another character people thought about was Detective Tapp (Danny Glover), but he was killed by Zepp, or Mr. Hindle if you want to go by his real name, in a fight just before they reached the bathroom. I hope this gives you some ideas, ssub-zzero.

I'm gonna have to agree with you on this one Scorp53, I cant see anyone else coming back but DrGordon. or if they wanted to take a lame way out, (if DrGordon did die, remember, he had no foot, and to get out of where they were, he would have to climb a ladder....) his kid? wife? But I dont see that.
Hopefully, MrGordon makes his return! lol, either way, whoever it is, I will go see this movie, The Saw movies are a much enjoyed new twist on the tired horror scene.

You know it man and kudos on agreeing and understanding why I thought Dr. Gordon would return. Just know that if he does return, Cary Elwes, the original Dr. Gordon, will not be in the movie. As I mentioned before, he sued Lionsgate Films over how much he was being paid. He was supposed to earn an extra 1%, but never got it. Most likely, they will recruit a different actor to play him instead of Mr. Elwes.
