Does anyone here like the Halloween movies? and if so, are you intrested in seeing the new prequel thats being directed by Rob Zombie? Any thots on this movie? hopes wishes? Personally, I love Halloween, even the shitty ones so to have a prequel come out is good news (no more having to try and follow the stories of about 5 writers) and being directed by Rob Zombie? Sounds like a winning combo to me! _________________

I liked the Halloween movies. All of them were classics on the killer Michael Myers. The man who killed his own sister with a butcher's knife, his weapon of choice. That's why he always carried it. The guy was basically like the son of the Devil because he could never die and always somehow came back for more, even though he should have died so many times before. The only movie that ruined the series was Halloween: Resurrection. How could they make another movie when Laurie Strode (Jamie Lee Curtis) beheaded Michael Myers? That was stupid and a pointless way to kill off Michael Myers. I don't know anything about this prequel from Rob Zombie, but I think that he could do a good job with it, that's saying he doesn't continue it from where Resurrection left off. _________________ Highest Kreate-A-Fatality: 11 (Ultimate Fatality)

...never really a Halloween fan, though I am curious as to how they're going to pull it off...like the time frame and things of such...especially if it's a Rob Zombie movie...I'm there...
...still far more looking forward to the Hellraiser remake...Clive Barker will be doing the honors himself...I feel Rob Zombie would bow to him...(metaphorically)... _________________ "...don't think it's yours just 'cause you marked it with your urine."

1. I am looking foward to it.
2. Don't you dare call me that, only Krave has permission to call me that.
As for the topic at hand, I never cared for the Holloweens, just seemed kinda lame that they tried to portay him as this invincible killing machine, yet he got stopped just about every time... _________________

...heheh...anywhy...Clive Barker is still in the process of the script and the only real information is that the budget will be 'ridiculously' larger than the original...good to know...
...back to the topic...I agree VainFiler...the dilemma had always been not the senseless killing, but the invincibility...unexplained and non-creative invincibility...
...we know he won't die...and it just makes me not want to watch...some slayers get too out-of-hand with being unoriginal...that's why I liked Nightmare on Elm Street and the early Child's Plays...not to mention the Friday the 13ths which actually followed new and awesome plots that you could get into, from beginning to end...I even thought Jason X was kind o' cool...unoriginal...but kind o' cool... _________________ "...don't think it's yours just 'cause you marked it with your urine."

You forget!, Mr.Myers was not beheaded!, Myers put his outfit on a cop and the cop was beheaded! lol I have read (on the offical halloween site) that they never were going to kill the series they only "killed" Myers in H2O to get rumors going. Now, as for this new Halloween, it being a prequel and directed, written by Mr.Zombie, I say its gonna be sweet
On another topic, I also did not know a new Hellraiser was comin out, on man, I gotta go look up on it, I love those movies!, well, most of them!
Long live horror/slashers!!!!!
EDIT; I really, really need to get back into some type of ESL class again huh? I hope you peeps can read my posts! _________________

...I can read your posts just fine...save having to scroll to the left and right to see everything every line...I sent you a PM on changing your signature a while back...like I said...you can't use Warehouse images for they are censored only as the Warehouse logo since there was a lot of plaguerism of the site... _________________ "...don't think it's yours just 'cause you marked it with your urine."

From the trailer it's definitely a remake but gets into much more detail, specifically at the beginning, which I thought was necessary. If we're lucky he'll come up with some logic as to why he can't die. More importantly, the trailer showed way too much.
EDIT: And the soundtrack is awesome from the looks of it. Great choices, though somewhat flimsy pertaining to the story. I'm surprised More Human Than Human isn't on their. I suppose Zombie didn't choose the music himself. _________________ "...don't think it's yours just 'cause you marked it with your urine."
