Alright, this movie series needs its own topic! I was litterally raised on this horror series and it's remained my favourite throught time. Clive Barker is just an amazing genious who gets better with each new movie. So, who else loves these movies? And is the rumors of a remake true? _________________

...alas...you and I have too much in common my friend...as I have seen each of the eight movies several times and have been watching since my mind can comprehend the past...I saw Hellraiser on Halloween before It's a Wonderful Life on Christmas the year after I was born...good times...that I'll never remember...
...the remake is most definitely true...Clive Barker released the information himself on his official site...big budget though unfortunately he does not want to direct claiming it would be 'wierd' to direct it again...fortunately enough he will be writing it instead of some Dimension Films asshole screwing up the plot entirely...
...I hope Barker adds some new twists to this remake and as long as it's as good as the Amityville and Omen remakes I'll at least be satisfied...my excitement I fear may be unquenchable...
...on another note...which of the four later movies did you like the most? Hellseeker and Deader nearly destroyed the series, fortunately Hellworld revived it on a last limb... _________________ "...don't think it's yours just 'cause you marked it with your urine."

I felt Deader gave it an intreesting poitn of view, though it wasn't the best. Hell Seeker was indeed the worst. Of the four latest, I have to agree that Hellworld was amazing, so many turns and twists it even kept me guessing till the end, though I feel the last part of the movie with that guy being killed by Pinhead was rather unneeded.
But I have to say Blood Line was my favourite, really gave that much needed backround info on the box. _________________

...Deader had been somewhat unique though like you said Hellworld definitely concluded as the best...
...overall Blood Line has to have been my second favorite as I'll always feel Hellbound is ultimately frightening...while young watching the movie a few years after the first made me freak the hell out, as any perspective of Hell is horrifying at that age...and just the thought that anything could happen that was your worst fear in this never-ending place...and all the crazy shit that did happen...it was just so creative, demented, horrifying, and inspiring... _________________ "...don't think it's yours just 'cause you marked it with your urine."

Honestly, I was a scarred little kid when it came to horror movies, but Hellraiser broke me out of it, oddly the feeling of a being of great evil having restrictions on it, a physical and something that can be done about it restriction gave me comfert. But then when I started getting older, and grew into the blood thirsty person I am, and actually payed attention and studied the story to it, it's simply amazing. _________________

...haha...it's the story that seperates it from regular horror movies...a Clive Barker masterpiece as any piece by Clive Barker is...a story of Hell...and a box...the box that set the standard for Horror symbols...more horrifying of an item than anything...a box that unleashed Hell...
...personally what I felt made it so great was the chains...as I have a fear of being bound...the chains absolutely torture my mind...and it's awesome...
...I have a Hellraiser shirt with Pinhead's face on the front and on the back it quotes "Your suffering will be legendary, even in HELL." Still I've always wanted a puzzle box replica...too lazy to buy one online though (assuming there are some)... _________________ "...don't think it's yours just 'cause you marked it with your urine."

They have a puzzle box skin out for the Gamecube which i am looking foward to buying for my new cube (Traded Morrowwind and kingdom Heats 2 for the cube, two controlers, all the hook ups, 3 memory cards, and 4 games, i think i got a good deal ) And I haven't seen any box replica's, although I almost bought my mom for her last birthday a complete set of Hell Raiser cast figures, it had everyone from Pinhead to every Sinobyte that ever made an apperence, though sadly I couldn't afford it at the time... _________________

Yea, aint that a kick tot he pants? But I can understant the need/want to collect some form of memoribila (sp?) of a movie/game/anime you loved. I do the same thing, weither it's getting a card game based on it, getting figures, and even side movies/novels that get released are always on my want list.
Now, there is something plagueing my mind... awhile ago i heard rumors of a Penwise vs Pinhead being made, now that sounds kinda far-fetched. if anything, Pinhead would (should, and CAN) take on both Freddy and Jason. _________________

...there were also rumours of a Helloween (Myers vs. Pinhead)...though it sounds like fun I'm not really into watching the both of them tie in the end like AVP and FVJ...especially with human interference...we all new Predator and Jason would have been the victors...come on...
...alas the rumours appear to be false as all attention is on this official remake...I'd enjoy watching Pinhead kick some other horror classic's ass though...who do you think he'd fit best with? Voorhees? Myers? Chucky? Kujo? I'm not sure... _________________ "...don't think it's yours just 'cause you marked it with your urine."

As far as I am concerend, the Preditors did win. As for FVJ, I gatta give that one to Freddy, cause if it wasn't for those teens helping Jason out, Frddy would have finished him off in the Dream World, and even then Freddy had Jason ont he ropes in the living world.
As for Pinhead, well... who could take him on? I mean, it would have to be like another horror villian with an army of sorts, or perhaps multiple villains. Like I said earlier, a Freddy vs Jason vs Pinhead would = one sick movie _________________

There's also talk of a Freddy vs. Jason sequel as well, though I know it's going to suck just as bad as the first one did. I could see them doing a Leatherface against some classic killer. _________________ Highest Kreate-A-Fatality: 11 (Ultimate Fatality)

Yea but Leatheface was a real person, why would they but his ugly as in with fictional characters? And could you stick to the topic Scorp53 of Hellraiser related discussion. _________________

I like the idea of one on one (or two teams instead of three). Unfortunately no one matches Pinhead. The closest I could conjure was Candyman, who was an escaped soul. The story would fit easily: Pinhead needs to reclaim the escaped soul of Candyman back to Hell. Though Candyman's fan-base is far too limited for commercial explosion.
Honestly Pinhead could only face a Demon or another cenobite to remain fair. Unfortunately none previously made are worthy, therefore I hope they do not put him in one of those movies for the sake of me being pissed at a massacre of film.
Oh...and Jason would have eventually caught Freddy in the real world, his little attacks wouldn't have held him down forever. Once that machete makes its mark, it's over. _________________ "...don't think it's yours just 'cause you marked it with your urine."

That is true about Pinhead... but I still would love to see him have his shining moment against another.
Yea but Freddy was too fast and smart for Jason, 90% of the fight scenes were in Freddys favor. But it was indeed the brute strength of Jason, and his machete (and those annoying kids...) that got the upper hand over Freddy in the other 10% _________________
