In the north eastern parts of China existed a secret clan of assassins and thieves known as The Lin Kuei, thriving on the evil intentions of those who would pay for their services. Its warriors are humans with special skills and abilities, chosen at birth to be raised apart from the workings of day to day civilization, stripped of their former lives and only the clan knows of their existence. Their abilities are passed on from generation to generation and honed throughout the experiences in their lives.
