Mortal Kombat 3 featured 15 playable characters (Liu Kang,Kano,Sindel,Jax,Shang Tsung,Sub-Zero,Stryker,Smoke (had to be unlocked with kombat kode: 10902 22234),Sonya,Cyrax,Sektor,Nightwolf,Sheeva,Kung Lao and Kabal), 2 hidden characters (Smoke (playable after unlocked) and Noob Saibot),1 sub-boss (Motaro) and 1 boss (Shao Kahn).

Revision 1.0 of MK3 had extremly easy fatalities that were chaged when revision 2.0 came out, for example Sektors compactor fatality in revision 1.0 was b,b,b,hk then in revision 2.0 it was changed to lp,rn,rn,bl.

Mortal Kombat 4 featured 15 playable characters (Kai,Raiden,Shinnok,Liu Kang,Reptile,Scorpion,Jax,Reiko,Johnny Cage,Jarek,Tanya,Fujin,Sub-Zero,Quan Chi,Sonya), 1 hidden character (Noob Saibot),1 sub-boss (Quan Chi) and 1 boss (Shinnok).

Like MK3 revision 1.0 MK4 had the same "easy" fatalities, until revision 3 of MK4 came out.Originaly Goro had been planned as a sub-boss for the arcade release but was taken out, but later apeared in all the home versions of MK4,It's possible that during the MK4 road tour he was in the game. MK4 runs 1.2 million 4 sided polygons per second, on there own exclusive "zeus" chip.

This was a very special release, all the music for MK1 had been converted to wav format that made the music and sfx arcade perfect...MK2 had been fixed to run under windows 95! This release would only be avialable 1 time and then we would never see it agian, making this MK game the most sort after along side MK2 for Playstation.

This is what started my MK fandom, I became so good at the Megadrive version that no one could beat me...the fact that it also had the blood kode (abacabb) made it the version to play! While SNES fanboys raved on about graphics, the Megadrive version delivered a perfect MK sensation based on the arcade version.

Sony Playstation Mortal Kombat Mythologies: Sub-Zero. Playstation version featured all new FMV sequences...It also had a hidden ending were sub-zero dies, then you see begind the scenes outtakes from making the FMV sequcnes! To do it you need 5 urns and when you fight shinnok in the beast form...don't run through the portal do 5 super freezes on him, and he dies.
