This story picks up where Sektor's ending in MK Gold left off,that is after Sektor kills Jax,Sonya and Cyrax.hope you like it!
Sektor takes one last look at the bodies of the 3 dead warriors and then turns around.His job is finished...Cyrax turned out to be a traitor to the Lin Kuei,just like Sub-Zero was.
He turns around and goes out of the door as silently as he came in,only to find Sub-Zero waiting for him! "Sektor!",Sub yells."Your day has come cyber-ninja !" Sektor looks at Sub-Zero and suddenly charges at him.....Sub dodges and kicks Sektor in the back of the knee forcing him to lose his balance.Sektor falls and rolls out of the way just in time as Sub-Zero tries to smash his face in with his foot! he gets up and jumps over Sub landing behind him and kicking him in the face.Sub goes flying backwards and hits the wall! Sektor comes in for the kill........
"Eeeaaaaaargh!" just as Sektor approaches him,Sub runs forward and neatly kicks Sektor in his missile compartment, Sektor falls backwards and tries to get up......wham! Another kick sends Sektor reeling,he tries to get up again but is sent back to the floor by a powerful roundhouse,sparks can be seen coming out from Sektor's neck.Sub-Zero then backs up and charges at Sektor! he jumps and is about to knock off Sektor's head when suddenly he disappears! Sub hits the wall instead and screams with pain!......"Wait a minute..",he says."Sektor's fighting has never been that good." Sektor suddenly appears out of nowhere and punches Sub across the face! he runs forward and neatly slams Sub with a well placed missile kick,Sub staggers and tries to regain his vision.....sektor jumps into the air and (ok this is done in slow motion!) does a scissor kick bringing Sub Zero up as well,then in mid air Sektor turns around and smashes Sub's face with his foot! Sub falls to the floor and is bleeding all over! He slowly gets up and sees Sektor is ready to launch a fury of missiles at him....
He takes off his mask and throws it aside.....he waits,sektor locks on to him and just before he can shoot,Sub lashes out with a powerful ice blast causing sektor's missile compartment to get blocked! Sektor's missiles blow up inside of him and his body parts go flying all over the place!
"Farewell Sektor," Sub says,"May god forgive your soul." He steps out of the building and is swept of his feet by.......Cyrax! "What the?......." Sub starts but stops when he sees twenty or more ninjas exactly like Cyrax,jumping at him from all around! "it was a trick Sub-zero!" Cyrax says....."I am not dead! you have been fooled! now that Sektor has weakened you up,we can finish you off."
Sub shoots an ice blast at the ninja standing closest to him hoping to take them by surprise.he then runs and slams the ninja's body into two or three others.Then he creates an ice clone and jumps just as a ninja jumps at him from behind! He freezes in midair and sub uppercuts him.Then he neatly turns around and roundhouses a guy behind him (which just happens to be Cyrax).Cyrax falls and yells "Frog,Altitude...get him!"
Sub-zero then sees two cyberninjas,one green and one blue closing in on him.he jumps over the green one and trips him! the blue one (which Sub thinks must be the guy called Altitude) comes flying at him.....Sub notices two jet packs under his feet.he ducks and Altitude comes in for another try! Suddenly sub runs runs around him and shoots ice at the two jet packs...Altitude slow down,stops and falls with a sickening crunch! Just then a cord wraps itself around Sub and he feels electricity surging through him!
He yells in pain and then loses conciousness! Frog retracts his "toungue" and the other ninjas slowly recover and get up.Cyrax walks to Sub-zero who is now unconcious on the floor and kicks him in the chest.
"Take him to headquarters!" he says and then walks into the building where Sub just killed Sektor.Cyrax looks for Sektor's head and finds it broken in half on the floor.he picks it up and exits the building......

"Where am I ?" says Sub-Zero.Last thing he can remember was knocking a blue cyberninja out of the air.He gets up and looks around and it slowly comes back to him......that green guy who electrocuted him! Then this can only be......."Lin Kuei Headquarters!".He recongnizes the training center and notices it's changed a lot. It's been more than 5 years,and apparently the Link Kuei didn't disband as everyone suspected. Instead they've been converting all their warriors into cyber ninjas.He is about to try and figure out why they would want so many cyber-ninjas when he sees someone approaching the training center.It's the guy he body slammed some time back.The ninja approaches him, "Greetings Ice Warrior.",he says."I am unit LK-3t3,code name:Snake.
Sub looks at him from head to toe.He certainly is ugly enough to be called a snake."What do you want from me?" He asks. "The Lin Kuei is preparing their assasins for the next tournament.Shao Kahn,lord if the Outworld is going to return and will pay the clan handsomely for their assistance.Sektor has now been repaired and he along with Cyrax is going to monitor the whole operation!"
Thats enough information for him.Sub jumps forward and kicks Snake and causes him to fall! He then runs as fast as he can to the exit (Or what he thinks is the exit to the training arena) and jumps over to a ledge.Snake must've called for backup by now.Sure enough,two minutes later Altitude and another couple of ninjas appear and start searching for him.Sub jumps down with a devastating war cry and lands on Altitude and heads out of the door.He runs to the right...the control room! He must get there quickly and open the main door out of the compound! He finally finds the room and goes over to the control panel on the wall.He types in a code and crosses his fingers.....
"I hope it's still the same." he says to himself. "Otherwise i'm in big trouble! " Sub walks out of the room and hears the ninjas approaching.He jumps up on the roof and takes out a pair of magnetic bracelets.These will help him stay out of trouble. With the help of the bracelets Sub crawls on the ceiling to the main doors and jumps down to the floor.
"Oh no,the ninjas!",he says."I must escape." he runs all the way to the gates and flips a switch on the wall near them.....THE OBSTACLE COURSE! That should keep them busy long enough for him to escape and watches as a few ninjas find themselves sinking in quicksand.Sub takes this chance to make his getaway.
After reaching safety Sub-Zero takes off his costume and catches the train to New York. (Hey,even ninja warriors gotta rely on plain old humans once in a while! ) "I must warn Fujin",he says. "I wonder how
the evil emperor escaped death in the first place. He didn't appear for the fourth tournament so we all assumed he was dead,but if the Lin Kuei says that we return,thats proof enough for me!"
On the journey to New York Sub realizes how much the Lin Kuei meant to him,after all.....it was where he belonged but where he chose not to be. He recalled the several missions he had carried out for them with the help of his old friend Smoke.Smoke! H emust be warned of the danger that was soon to befall the world so he could once more fight alongside earth's warriors.This was going to be the ultimate tournament mainly because of the Lin Kuei's cyber ninjas and Kahn's returning warriors and also the fact that all the Earth warriors would be back for this tournament....Johnny Cage,Liu Kang,why Princess Kitana herself may return for this fight if Shao Kahn is involved and along with her,Sindel and Jade.
It's going to be a long journey and he'd better get some rest while he could.Once in New York he would go staright to the Blue Lotus and find Liu Kang and they could find Fujin.Although Fujin was a good fighter and a very wise god,Sub-Zero had always for some reason felt more secure with Raiden around. Suddenly,there is a thundering noise and the compartment's door is broken! Oh no! Snake and Sektor.....they wanted to make sure Sub couldn't get back in time to warn the others! Sub takes on a fighting stance as Sektor and Snake close in on him........
