Chameleon’s Story: Alex was just a normal human. He had a wife and two children. Little did he know that was to change. After the defeat of Shinnok, Shao Kahn found a way to cheat death and attack earth once more.
Kahn planned big this time. He made a proposition with the Lin Kuei. Now the Lin Kuei were automating all of their ninjas for Kahn. Kahn sent all of his warriors to attack all of the major cities in the United States. After having his family and home destroyed, Alex vowed to destroy Shao Kahn for what he did. But he was not alone. Raiden told his warriors of a great fighter in the US that could be the chosen one for the 6th tournament. Liu Kang, along with the rest of earth’s warriors, came to the US to get this ‘chosen one’.
After telling Alex that he was the chosen one to beat Shao Kahn, he went with no thought at all. They all got on Shang’s old ship and sailed back to Hong Kong. Raiden and Fujin were there to great Alex. After talking a lot about why he Alex was here, Raiden told him that he wasn’t ready to fight Shao Kahn, and he needed to get some help from Scorpion, who now is fighting along with earth’s warriors. Alex set out for his journey.
After many long days and nights, Alex found Scorpion. Before Alex could say anything, Scorpion said, “Well, well. This must be the one Raiden sent.” Alex nodded his head in a ‘yes’ motion. “I will teach you about your past,” Scorpion said. “Come over here and sit down,” Scorpion said. Alex sat down, and Scorpion started telling his story. “A long time ago, almost 5,000 years, there was a great warrior named Chameleon. He was from the race they call ‘Raptors’.” “These Raptors could mimic any shape or attack.” “Chameleon was the king of these people.” “Chameleon had this suit that he always wore to war.” “It was all of the colors of the rainbow.” “One day, Chameleon was told by his spies that Shao Kahn and his armies were coming to take over the Raptors’ land.” “Chameleon commanded that his armies prepare for battle.” “After preparing, Chameleon led his armies to war.” “There was a great fight, but when it was all over, the Raptors lost.” “Chameleon was taken to Shao Kahn.” Shao Kahn cast him away to the earth, without any memories of his past.” “There, he blended in with humans for many years, not remembering what he once was.” “He got a job, a family, and had many friends.” “That is my story,” said Scorpion, finishing the story. “Alex,” said Scorpion, “you are Chameleon. Alex just sat there. He didn’t know what to believe. “We need you to defend our realm and yours,” said Scorpion. “If you need my help I will give it,” said Alex. “Scorpion, help me remember my past,” Alex asked. After many hours remembering his past, Alex stood up and shouted, “Chameleon is back!” His suit then came before him and they became one.
Once there, earth’s warriors made their way up the stairs to the top. There they met Kahn and his 8 generals, Ermac, the red ninja, Noob Saibot, the dark ninja, Reptile, now in his true lizard form, Goro, the shokan, Tanya, the Edinian, Sector, the resurrected, red robot, Motaro, the centaur, and his final general, Quan Chi. Jax said, “I’ll take that black, ninja freak dude over there.” Sonya said, “I’ll take Ermac again.” “Rain said, “ I’ll take Reptile.” “I’ll take Sector,” said Liu. “Quan Chi is mine,” said Fujin. “Centaur, you’re mine,” said Scorpion. “Cyrax said, “I’ll take Motaro. “I’ll have Goro,” said Smoke. “And I’ll take Kahn,” said Chameleon. All of the fighters took their battle stances and the battles begin. Kahn yells, “Let the final battles begin!” Chameleon walks patiently towards Kahn. Kahn throws off his cape and throws the first punch. Chameleon dodges the punch and follows with a round house kick. He lands it and throws a hard uppercut. Kahn dodged it and gives him a hard shadow shoulder. It lands. Chameleon is thrown through a brick wall. Kahn then follows up with a fireball. It misses. Chameleon then turns himself into Kintaro. “Very clever,” says Kahn sarcastically. “But it is not good enough to beat me!” Chameleon runs after Kahn and grabs him with his bottom two arms. He then pounds Kahn with his top two arms. This goes on for fifteen seconds before Kahn lands a shadow knee to break any from Kintaro’s grasp. Chameleon then turns back into himself. “This battle will be won by me, not Kintaro,” said Chameleon. He then ran at Kahn and gave him a diving kick.&nb
Later that day, Jax carried his old partner, himself, to her grave. There, she was given a proper burial. Then out of nowhere, Johnny Cage appeared. He bent down and put a rose by her gravestone. He then got up and told his friends that he was sorry he didn’t make it in time. They all went back to Scorpion’s cave, which was only 10 minutes away. While walking there, Johnny told everyone about how he cheated death and how he escaped Kahn and his extermination squad. He told them that he tried to get to Hong Kong as fast as he could. “But it wasn’t quick enough,” Johnny said. “It’s OK, we’ll get through this,” said Chameleon. Just as Chameleon finished his words, Ermac, along with one hundred extermination ninjas, appeared out of nowhere. Ermac said, “Here is earth’s last chance to defend itself. With those words, Mileena, Kabal, Sheeva, and Baraka apeared. Once again earth’s warriors take their battle stance and prepare for MK 7.
