Sub backs up as Sektor and Snake close in on him,he looks at Snake and sees he's standing next to the door.Then he looks at Sektor who is in a fighting stance near Snake......"Perfect!",with this Sub backflips towards the wall and using it as a springboard leaps at Sektor sending him flying onto Snake who is thrown out of the train! Everyone stares at Sub-Zero and Sektor standing,facing each other both ready to kill his opponent.......
"You shall not escape this time Sub-Zero!",says Sektor."It is time you came back with me and served the clan once again like you're brother and father before you.". "Never!" says Sub-Zero!
Sub looks around.....there's no way to escape and he can already see Snake trying to climb back onto the train! He notices a small handbag on the floor next to his feet (Remember that Sub's wearing normal clothes and this would probably look dumb without his costume) and picks it up.He throws it at Sektor who tries to block the throw.....this it it! It's now or never! Sub jumps into the air and turns around and kicks Sektor in the face spinning him through the air!
Sub punches a hole in the ceiling of the compartment and jumps on top of it....there he finds Snake waiting for him.Sub-Zero runs forward and jumps over Snake,Snake punches Sub in the stoumach and Sub-Zero doubles over in pain........he wipes the blood off his face and his eyes go red with anger.....NO MORE MISTER NICE GUY! Sub takes out his Ice Club and smashes Snake's face in with it,he then flips Snake of his feet and procedes to pound him with the Ice Club! Krunch! Smash!.....AAAAAAARGH!
So long sucker! Snakes dead an' gone.....well,atleast for now he is.Now to find Sektor.Sub turns around as he hears the sound of jets!........."Altitude!".Crap.They just don't give up do they?...."You made a big mistake by coming here cyberninja!" says Sub."But now it's too late to back out."
"Do you really think i would be foolish enough to come alone ice warrior?"
As Altitude says this Sub sees a whole group of cybers emerging from out of nowhere! They surround him and Sektor appears and tells them that he can make out Sub Zero is of no further use to them! But Sub doesn't give up that easily......he slides under one of the ninjas flipping him over and runs as fast as possible from the rest of the cybers!
He jumps off the train just as it comes out of a tunnel and finds himself in a forest kind of place.
He rips off his normal clothes and his costume can be seen glowing a dark shade of blue. "Now it's time to put an end to this madness.",he says.
He waits patiently and two minutes later the cybers are again after him.
Frog runs forward and takes out a nasty looking blade,slashing away like a mad person! Sub blocks the first two hits and dodges the third one.He freezes a huge tree nearby and then smashes it with his Ice Club! The tree with a sickening crunching sound falls on Frog breaking his leg in half! Before anyone can react Sub throws his Ice Club at Altitude who is standing right in front of all the others."Two down,three to go!"
Sub backflips out of the way just as a purple ninja tries to shower him with ninja stars! He runs forward and rounhouses the ninja! "Be warned Sub-Zero." the ninja says."I am a blackbelt in 10 forms of martial arts and you are no match for me!".....saying this he runs forward and jumps over Sub,Sub lashes out with a powerful backhand,the ninja catches hold of Sub's arm and throws him over his shoulder,Sub falls to the floor and rolls out of the way just in time as the ninja shoots a few more of those ninja stars.
He and the ninja then both jump at the same time and clash in mid air just and the ninja knocks Sub to the ground once more! Sub gets up and charges forward slamming the ninja with his body,he then kicks him across the and face lifts him up.....
A second later Ice is seen spreading over the ninjas body and Sub-Zero brings him down and smashes him with his knee! Then just before the reactor in the ninjas body explodes,Sub throws him at the ninja next to Sektor! KA-BOOM!
Sub and Sektor stand facing each other....Sektor bows,Sub-Zero does the same.Sektor then shoots a fury of missiles at Sub Zero who jumps out of the way and counter attacks with an ice blast,while Sektor is frozen Sub runs over to his Ice Club and picks it up.......Sektor breaks out of the ice and takes out his own weapon...(Unfortunately for Sub it isn't an ordinary weapon,Sektor's hand goes into his arm and a spinning blade appears in it's place! Sektor's other hand is then replaced by a grenade launcher!)
Sektor comes forward and starts swiping out with his blade,Sub manages to dodge the first two tries but then Sektor knocks him to the ground! He is just coming to finish off Sub when there is a crack of thunder and Raiden appears! He points his finger at Sektor and next moment a bolt of lightning comes out and blows off Sektor's head!
"You had no right to interfere thunder god.",says Sub Zero. "The fight was between Sektor and me and had nothing to do with you."
"Never mind that.There are other important matters to attend to...."
"The invasion?"
Raiden simply nods and then points his staff at the floor and a portal opens up."What do we do with him?" asks Sub looking at Sektor.
"He's not a threat anymore.....i suppose it's safe to leave him for the time being." said Raiden. "How do you know about the invasion and when is it going to start?" asked Sub."The invasion.....has already started." says Raiden. "A portal opened over Japan a few hours back.I have gathered the few warriors that are on our side and now Sub Zero,I ask you to join our cause and fight alongside the earth's warriors as in the last tournament.The choice is yours ice warrior." "I am at your service Raiden. But there is a condition isn't there?" asks Raiden. Sub Zero smiles. "I need answers......answers as to how the Lin Kuei returned after every single one of their ninjas were killed during the last fight against Shao Kahn and also,you must help me find my friend Smoke who was converted into a cyberninja. I swore that I would do all I could to convert him back into a human at the first chance i got." says Sub."Consider your wish granted. As soon as the invasion is over,we will help you find your friend." replied Raiden."Now come,we have lots to do..."
Raiden and Sub Zero step through the portal and a second later Sub finds himself in an old monastary staring at Liu Kang,Johnny Cage,Kitana,Jade and......"Hullo Sub Zero,the name's..."
"Rain!" Sub Zero recognizes the purple ninja from his old dayss in the Lin Kuei.Rain was the most daring ninja the clan ever raised and was a true warrior......until he joined Kahn. "I thought you would have forgotten me by now.I have joined the realms defenders in hope to make up for my wrong doings when i was with the emporer of the outworld and i do not know if you will ever forgive me for betraying our friendship." said Rain.Sub Zero looks at Rain wondering what caused the ninja to switch sides. As if he could sense the question on Sub's mind Rain says," Edenia is my birthplace Sub Zero.Shao Kahn promised he would release it if i aided him in capturing the earth realm but i realize now that i was tricked. I'm sorry for interrupting but could we please continue this little pow wow later?" says Johnny Cage. "Cage's right." says Liu Kang. "We've got a bigger problem on our hands.Shao Kahn sent us a message a while back revealing to us that he is actually Reiko and after Shinnok's defeat all his powers were returned to him and in addition to that he's now got Quan Chi on his side......and Shang Tsung's been resurrected too!"
"There's nothing we can do now" says Raiden "Except maybe plan out our attack and then try to get a little rest." Raiden is about to turn to Kiatana when.....AAAAAAATCHOOO! Sub Zero lets out a huge sneeze half the room's ceiling get's frozen!
"Sorry."
"You still haven't changed a bit Sub Zero." says Rain."All these years and you still haven't got a hold over that allergy of your's"
After a hearty laugh the warriors turn to their global positioning system and procede with their planning realizing that this is THE tournament,the deciding factor,the big one! If they don't win it even the elder gods won't be able to save earth......
