The tops of Neri are where it is coldest. Snowy white caps topped over each mountain that Subzero travled over. He moved silent like new fallen snow feeling more at home with every step he took away from his old one. The drumming of icy thoughts slipped every where in his mind as he grew closer to the end of a valley over Neri. In the search of his brother he already found out that the demon souless entity Scorpion was the most involved, followed by a tie in with Reptile. How, who really knows. Jade had approached him wishing to have him join her and Princess Kitana in the fight against Shinnok and other realm forces. Subzero's own agenda came the fact that Raiden told him that his elder brother was still alive. Since then his blood has been burning to find out where he is. Now that he knew the route Scorpion was taking, his next step was to find Nightwolf.
Night was approaching fast again as Subzero headed down the valley ending through Neri. With his ice blue eyes he looked on seeing a speck of fire down below. He had found him. Subzero went down the lifeless trail and made his quick way towards the large fire.
He didn't see anyone there sitting by the blaze which prompted him to believe that he was being watched from the shadows around him. Nightwolf was more then just a warrior, he was a spirit caller, a true man of the world. Subzero knew that if he didn't show himself, neither would Nightwolf. Subzero walked quietly towards the fire and looked around. He stood close to the fire and waited.
Many moments went by and nothing but the flow of the calm wind. Subzero was begining to wonder why this far was even made if there was no one there to be fueled by it.
Suddenly a a fierce growl was let loose from the darkened shadows as Subzero whipped his body around. Five wolves appeared through the darkness all looking dead at Subzero. They were of mixed colors but Subzero only looked at the center one.
"Wolves are not indigenious to this area" said Subzero folding his arms. Suddenly four of the wolves all dove straight for Subzero all vanishing as they went through his body. Subzero failed to move at all. The center wolf changed to the form of a man as the warrior Night Wolf appeared.
"I hear you do that a lot these days" said Subzero. Night Wolf kept his distance.
"Time to test you Subzero" said Nightwolf. The exact words Subzero were waiting for. Nightwolf stepped forward and guarded himself. Subzero squinted his eyes and did the same...
