| Chapter 08: A strange follower |

Subzero made his way through the town keeping strides on time. For an hour he was being followed by a shadowy figure, though the follower did not think Subzero knew about her...he did. Subzero turned quickly into a corner of a shack building. The figure went in blindly. Out of nowhere Subzero jumped out from above and front kicked the figure. She instinctivly blocked upwards but the force sent her back towards a wall. Subzero hit the ground and dove forwards with a fast thrust punch, the figure leaped to the right and hitting a back palm towards Subzero's neck. Subzero threw a moontomaki block out and kicked up. The figure down blocked arumaki and the two fell into a set of hand punches with eachother. Whoever the unknown figure was, Subzero was having a fellow good time toying with her. Though after a few moments of set fighting, it began to get serious. The figure jumped back and reached inside her tight cloak to pull out a sufficiently seraded jagged blade. Subzero balled his fists tight and clenched hard. She swung in several directions all moving towards Subzero's face and throat. Subzero narrowly nudged his head around each stab and slash whipping around the girl. Subzero ran up to the hard wall and threw both of his feet up then bounced off and flew punched her in the chest. The girl fell back and hit the wall hard.
She made almost no action towards the hit upon her as she came towards Subzero again. Subzero spun his leg around and smacked his heel right into the girl's wrist. The blade went flying away as the girl held her wrist now feeling a deadened numbness in her hand. Subzero grabbed the girl by the throat and shoved her against the wall holding her tightly.
"Who are you!" Subzero demanded holding a glowing icy fist up to her face. The girl's breathing was intense as her hair began to fall out of it's bun and around her face. Subzero looked into her eyes. They were a stunning green. Subzero kept his hold on tight.
"It is you, I have found the ice man Subzero" said the girl. Subzero kept his eyes in checked. Her slendor face looked like it has held plenty of secrets in the past.
"I said "who" are you?" he said tightening his grip on her throat. The girl tried to gulp as she knew he was not playing around.
"My name is Jade." she said...
