Mortal Kombat is not about death, but rather, the preservation of life. Liu Kang, Johnny Cage, Sonya Blade and a few other warriors defeated Outworld sorcerer Shang Tsung in Mortal Kombat. When the Earth realm fighters returned home after their victory, they only enjoyed a brief period of peace. For someone from Outworld has a different point of view.
