“Reptile wins, Fatality.” Shang Tsung yelled after Reptile got done devouring Kabal. As the new tournament began all the fighters trained hard to get ready for it. They couldn’t let Smoke get passed the second round or there would be nothing stopping him.
The second match would be Stryker against Sektor. Stryker was going to try to put a hole in him and was going to try to find a weak spot on him. Stryker failed to do so and Sektor grabbed Stryker’s gun from him and just crushed it with one hand. Sektor’s chest then opened up and a flamethrower came out and burned Stryker. Sektor claimed his victory as his flamethrower went back into his chest.
The next match would be Jax versus Kano. Kano, angry from what Jax did in the last tournament, runs towards Jax and attacks him right away. Kano uppercutted Jax and caused him to fall to the ground. Then Kano took out his two knifes and started to cut Jax. Kano had knocked out Jax so then he cut both of Jax’s bionic arms off and then shoved both knives into his back and then claimed victory.
Then next round would be Johnny Cage against Ermac. Johnny Cage started off by hitting Ermac with his jump kick and knocked Ermac down. You see Johnny throw a green ball at Ermac and knocked him back. Then Johnny walked over to Ermac and gave him a spin kick to his head. Then when Ermac got up he teleported over to the other side of Johnny and uppercutted him. Ermac trying to take advantage now makes Johnny go to him and when Johnny ran at Ermac, Ermac would just kick him back. Then you see Johnny’s hand glow green and he runs towards Ermac and uppercuts him and Ermac’s head flies off. Johnny Cage then claimed victory.
The next fight would be between Noob Saibot and Kung Lao. Noob Saibot couldn’t be seen by Kung Lao and then out of nowhere Noob Saibot hits Kung Lao with a swift kick in the back of the head. Then Saibot keeps the advantage and gives him many kicks to his head. Noob Saibot then picking up Kung Lao and breaks his arm. Then Saibot took Kung Lao’s hat off of his head and cut him in half. Noob Saibot claimed victory.
The next round would be between Rain and Goro. “This puny mortal thinks he can beat me? Don’t make me laugh” Goro said. Then Rain starts to attack Goro right away, not stopping for anything. Rain just keeps beating the hell out of Goro. Rain used his Levitation ball and Goro flew into the air as Rain pulled off a deadly combo. Goro was knocked out. No one could believe it. Rain then claimed victory. Everyone was surprised that Rain could have possibly won.
The next fight would be Cyrax against Lui Kang. Cyrax goes out and tries to kick and punch Lui but he dodges all of his moves. Then Lui starts to attack Cyrax. Lui thinks he has control when he mistakenly punched Cyrax and broke his hand. Lui screamed in pain but he still tried to use strategy to defeat Cyrax. Lui fought Cyrax for as long as he could. Once Lui ran out of energy, Cyrax took advantage of it. Cyrax grabbed Lui’s head and opened his mouth up, practically breaking his jaw. Cyrax’s chest then opened up and a bomb dropped into Lui’s mouth. Cyrax backed away as he watched Lui Kang blow into pieces. Cyrax then claimed victory.
The next fight was between Shang Tsung and Quan Chi. Shang Tsung being confident in himself waits for Quan Chi to make the first move. Quan Chi did indeed make the first move. It was his fire skull and it hit Tsung. Quan Chi then rips off Tsung’s leg and beats him down with it. Quan Chi claimed victory.
The next fight would be Shinnok versus Sub-Zero. Sub-Zero starts off by trying to freeze him, but it had no effect. Sub-Zero then went in for the kill and attacked Shinnok but Shinnok wasn’t being effected by anything. Shinnok then punches Sub-Zero as he flies across the whole arena. Shinnok goes after him quickly and starts punching Sub-Zero. Each punch harder than the last. Sub-Zero getting ready to call it quits, sees a type of emblem on Shinnok’s belt. Sub-Zero knocked it off his belt and it fell to the ground. Sub-Zero then froze it to the ground and went over and stepped on it, which crushed it and killed Shinnok. Sub-Zero claims victory while in the back round, Shinnok was exploding.
In another part of the Earth realm someone is there and he has just killed Sub-Zeros family. Unluckily for Sub-Zero, he doesn’t know who it was.
The next match would be between Raiden and Kahn. Raiden trying to take advantage uses his flying attack to try to take down Kahn. It hit Kahn but didn’t effect him much. Kahn then shot his plasma ball at Raiden and it hit him and Raiden flew through a wall. Raiden then got back up slowly as Kahn just kept kicking him. Kahn broke one of Raiden’s ribs. Raiden couldn’t just quit, and he didn’t. The only problem was Raiden knew he couldn’t come back. Raiden could barely move and Kahn shot another plasma ball at Raiden and it missed him hitting a pole behind him. Raiden looked relieved but then the pole fell over and crushed Raiden. Shao Kahn then claimed victory.
Nightwolf would then once again fight Smoke. The fight didn’t last long because of the fact that Smoke was stronger than Nightwolf as a robot. Smoke just shot 5 missiles at him but they all missed and blew up everything around him. That worked for Nightwolf’s advantage because it knocked out Smoke. Nightwolf then took out his axe and started chopping away at Smoke’s armor. It put a hole into him and then Smoke was awakened and then his chest opened up and his spear came out and went right through Nightwolf’s head, killing him. Smoke then claimed victory.
In Outworld Kahn was angered cause he couldn’t let Smoke make it far again or he would surely win. So just like he used Smoke to help him, he set up Reptile to fight him in the next round.
The next fight was between Blind Kenshi and Frost. Blind Kenshi gave Frost a kick to her head almost knocking her out. Frost got back up and froze Blind Kenshi. She took advantage of that and walked over to him and started beating away on him. Eventually Kenshi started to crack and then he shattered into pieces. Frost claimed victory over Blind Kenshi.
The next round was between Baraka and Rain. Baraka would come out swinging at Rain but Rain dodged all of his swings. Rain then hits Baraka with a bolt of lightning and almost killed him. Baraka then got up and swung at Rain and hit him which luckily for Rain it didn’t kill him. Then Baraka was going to kill Rain as he swung one hand and Rain grabbed his hand. Then Baraka swung his other hand and Rain grabbed that one too. Then Rain took Baraka’s blades and shoved them into his head. Rain then stood over Baraka and claimed victory.
The next fight would be between Smoke and Reptile. Reptile started off by swinging at Smoke and made his hole in his back even bigger. Smoke then shot a missile at Reptile but he dodged it. Then he tried using his spear to grab Reptile but Reptile ate it. Smoke didn’t know what else to do so he went and just started punching and kicking Reptile. Reptile started to bleed and could barely stand. Kahn jumped into the arena and shot a plasma ball at Smoke and hit his hole going into his body and causing it to malfunction. Then as Smoke was malfunctioning, he blew up. A battered and bloody Reptile claims victory over Smoke.
The next fight would be between Sub-Zero and Kano. Kano ran towards Sub-Zero and kept swinging so he could surely hit him. Sub-Zero didn’t plan on making this fight last long. Sub-Zero kicks Kano in the head and Kano flies backwards. Kano gets up and Sub-Zero threw an ice ball at Kano and hit the metal plate on his face and froze it. Sub-Zero then punched it and shattered the metal plate and revealed what was under it. Sub-Zero then took both of Kano’s daggers, froze them, and then threw them at Kano. One hit him in the stomach and the other hit him in the head. It froze him by starting from the inside and then freezes the outside. Kano then falls to the ground as Sub-Zero claims victory.
The next fight would be between Sonya Blade and Frost. Frost takes an early advantage over Sonya. She punches and kicks Sonya and tires her down. Then she takes out her ice daggers and started slicing away at Sonya. Frost then freezes Sonya and kicks her head right off. Everyone was surprised that Sonya didn’t even put up a fight.
The next match was Cyrax versus Sektor. They didn’t want to fight each other but this is what it had to come down to. Sektor wasn’t nearly as strong as Cyrax so he didn’t have much of a chance. Sektor still gave it a try. Punch after punch both Cyrax and Sektor would get dents in them from the other armor. Then Cyrax taking complete control of the battle as Sektor starts to malfunction. Then Cyrax for some reason puts himself into a detonatation sequence and grabs Sektor. Then 10 seconds later they both were blown into many pieces.
The next fight would be between Noob Saibot and Reptile. Noob Saibot goes in for a quick kill but fails to do so. Reptile counters with his crawling move and sweeps Saibot off his feet. Noob Saibot gets back up and gets acid spit into his face. Reptile starts to give Noob Saibot a combo but then Saibot counters with a combo of his own. Reptile and Saibot both fall to the ground. Once they both get back up, Reptile spits his acid onto Saibot and it melts his skin away. Reptile then claims his victory.
The next fight was between Shao Kahn and Johnny Cage. “I will kill you just like I killed everyone else!” Kahn said. Johnny Cage then did a jump kick at Kahn but got a stiff right arm, right in the face. “Now, bow at my feet!” Kahn said. Johnny Cage then got up. “You fool!” screamed Kahn. Kahn then charged at Johnny and charged him right through a wall and killed him.
The next fight would be between Sub-Zero and Quan Chi. Sub-Zero was determined to win now that he made it this far so he tried to finish off Quan Chi quickly. Sub-Zero froze Quan Chi’s feet to the ground now Quan Chi couldn’t move so it wouldn’t be hard to beat him. So Sub-Zero just went over to Quan Chi and started beating on him for a while. Quan Chi started to bleed eventually and then Sub-Zero grabbed Quan Chi’s head and rips it clean off his shoulders. Sub-Zero then claims victory but can’t celebrate for long before Reptile comes out.
Reptile attacked Sub-Zero from behind to take an early advantage. Reptile then gets a mean combo on Sub-Zero. Sub-Zero was hurt after that combo and he was down for a couple minutes. Once Sub-Zero got back up he was dizzy and Reptile gave Sub-Zero a roundhouse kick knocking Sub-Zero off his feet. Sub-Zero was hurt and bleeding. Reptile then walks over to Sub-Zero and gives him a kicking combo. Now Sub-Zero was gushing blood and had ripped clothes. Reptile demanded for Kahn to come down and fight him although he hadn’t yet won over Sub-Zero. Kahn accepted and came down to fight Reptile. Reptile gets off the same combo as he did on Sub-Zero. Kahn was hurt badly and Reptile had the advantage. Reptile then beat away on Kahn some more. Reptile was showing Kahn no mercy. Then Reptile got off a kicking combo kind of like the one he did on Sub-Zero.
Sub-Zero was just lying on the ground thinking about how he had to win this tournament to get to Scorpion. Reptile then takes off his mask and opens up his mouth and eats Kahn’s head right off his shoulders. Then he left his mask off as Sub-Zero tried to get up. Reptile then stuck his tong out and tried to eat Sub-Zero’s head too. Sub-Zero then grabbed Reptile’s tong and froze it which the ice went into his body and froze Reptile’s entire body. Then Sub-Zero gave Reptile a roundhouse kick into the head and he shattered into pieces. Sub-Zero claimed victory and won the tournament. Sub-Zero promised Scorpion that it would be a cold day in hell.
